Renaissance Community Development Corporation Center, Inc. (RCDCC) mission is to provide a safe, healthy living environment, enhanced by supportive services that address the special needs of low income and homeless people. RCDCC provides neighborhood revitalization for the community through job training, and substance abuse recovery, after care, summer youth programs and basic needs for families. Our services and program activities are geared toward low and moderate income as well as homeless families which aim to nurture the healthy development of at risk individuals, families and children encourage positive behaviors in our youth, and strengthen families to achieve to their fullest potential.


Our goal is to return at-risk individuals and families to society with the skills, knowledge, and attitudes and values necessary to support a rewarding and productive lifestyle. Encourage academics enrichment and employability training opportunities to at-risk individuals and families with children, adding to the number of self sufficient community members who are productive citizens.

To achieve our goals and mission, we will offer the above mentioned services to at-risk individuals and families who are struggling with day-to-day issues, significant barriers that prevent them from reaching their employability and personal goals in life. This is achieved through securing housing, attaining employment, drug abuse treatment and counseling, addressing hunger, and life skills training to promote self-sufficiency and becoming productive citizens.


Renaissance Community development corporation Center (RCDCC) serves WFNJ/GA clients and the dislocated at-risk population of Newark and Essex County. A community plagued with drug addiction, hunger, crime, illiteracy and poverty. Many households headed by single parents, struggling to meet their basic needs. Renaissance Computer Training Institute prepares participants for employment with job training, job readiness, interviewing techniques and job coaching, job placement and job retention skills. In many cases, we provide transportation and assistance to participants going to interviews.

Additionally, we provide services to WFNJ/GA clients in recovery, providing treatment for drug addition. The Challenge Conquerors Training Center (RCCTC) program focuses on addiction and recovery treatment. Then Renaissance Computer Training Institute (RCTI) addresses life skills, employment and training skills which addresses the effects of long term drug use and ameliorates significant barriers created by the drug addiction.
